GU Energy Gels are easy to ingest and contain carbohydrates, Vitamins C and E, and amino acids that boost your performance in any endurance sport. Available in many delicious flavours.

Created for daily training and competition, GU Energy Gels pack energy-dense calories in a portable packet to help sustain energy demands of any duration or activity. GU Energy Gel is limited to 100 calories because, in general, the body can digest roughly 350 calories per hour during exercise. If you tried to eat more, your body would divert blood from your muscles to handle the excess food.

GU Energy Gels contain:

• sodium and potassium to replenish the body's water and electrolyte levels
• carbohydrates (maltodextrin and fructose) that use non-competing pathways to help maximise carb absorption and utilisation while diminishing stomach distress
• branched-chain amino acids (leucine, valine, isoleucine) to reduce mental fatigue and decrease muscle damage
• antioxidants (Vitamin C and E) that aids in fighting tissue breakdown that can result from rigorous physical activities
• caffeine that enhances performance by increasing focus and concentration and decreasing perceived effort during exercise - 20mg in Mandarin Orange, Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Outrage, Triberry, Tastefully Nude, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Salted Watermelon; 40mg in Espresso Love, Caramel Macchiato and Jet Blackberry; and none in Strawberry Banana, Lemon Lime, Peanut Butter and Root Beer.

Consume one Gel 15 minutes before an activity and one every 45 minutes thereafter.
